On 30th June to 1st July 2018, the Cubs enjoyed a very hot weekend camp at Roves Farm Park near Swindon.
The farm park offers tractor rides and supervised animal feeding, as well as plenty of play areas and outdoor space.
Camping teaches the Cubs a range of new skills and experiences including being away from home, pitching and striking camp, and working as a group. The Cubs were grouped 6 or 7 to a tent, and each had to contribute to running the camp, preparing food or washing up after a meal.
The Cubs slept in traditional canvas Patrol Tents

We all had to do our part for the camp……but there was plenty of time for fun!
