There are lots of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities to help explore the world around you, including hiking, sports, crafts, games, and skills like using a map and compass to find your way and many more. After completing some challenges and activities, if you tried hard and did your best you will get a badge to wear on your uniform. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your pack, sleeping in a tent and doing lots of outdoor activities.

Rodborough Cub Scouts are aged between 8 and 10.5 years and like a challenge and adventure. We meet on Thursday evenings between 6.30 and 8pm either at the Scout Hut, or out and about somewhere interesting and fun.

The Cub Pack aims to go camping at least twice a year. Often there will be an over-night camp at the Scout field, with a camp fire, outdoor skills and wide games. The summer camp is usually two nights somewhere further away, with more fun and games, and activities depending on the site.

In 2016 Rodborough Cubs joined GlosCubs100 to celebrate 100 years of Cub Scouting. Cub packs from all over the county camped at Rhydd Covert scout campsite, with many on-site activities and a trip to West Midlands Safari Park.
